Where is the Institute of Wedding & Event Design Located?

Our Candian corporate headquarters is located at 5720 Townsend Line in Lambton Shores, ON Canada and our US corporate mailing address is 123 N Congress Ave. Suite 386 in Boynton Beach, FL. No classes take place at these locations. Our classes take place at a variety of hotels and convention centers around the world.

Do I Need Previous Experience in the Event / Wedding Industry?

No. Our courses are structured to teach the fundamentals and advanced techniques of wedding and event décor to both experienced professionals and beginners. While other decorating/event management/planning courses exist, our program is unique with it’s hands-on approach to instruction and focus on the complete “A to Z” approach which teaches design, principals, technique, business strategy and much more. Students who are already experienced in the industry will gain valuable new techniques and strategies which will allow them to run their businesses more profitably while reducing stress and driving higher revenues. Beginners find that and IWED education gives them the knowledge and wisdom that would normally only come from years of costly trial-and-error experience and will have an immediate advantage over their competition and/or ensure that they are fully qualified to be hired for top positions in the industry.

If you have no previous experience in the event industry, don’t worry! You can be successful in this industry if you have these skills:

What Does Each Course Include?

You will be provided with take home notes at each course. When enrolling in the series 101-609 you will be given a binder to organize your notes and given an Event Toolkit containing all the tools needed for the hands-on training. This toolkit will be yours to take home and use at your own events.

Can We Take Pictures or Video?

Yes, you can take photos to showcase your work but video is not permitted. We ask you sign an agreement with IWED stating that you will only use the photos on your company’s website.

What Do You Get After You Complete a Course?

After successful completion of a course series, you will receive an official certificate of completion issued by the Insitute of Wedding & Event Design. You will received this by mail within 8 weeks of completing the courses, (or upon completion of payment plan).

What Do You Get After You Complete ALL Courses?

After successfully completing courses 101-609, you will receive a printed and embossed degree certificate issued by the Institute of Wedding & Event Design and titled “Accredited Event Designer”. You will received this by mail within 8 weeks of completing the courses. You will also gain the knowledge, expertise and skills to build and operate a successful business in the wedding and event industry, or to secure a job in the industry.

Is There Testing Involved?

Testing is required to ensure the knowledge taught is retained by the student. Depending on the course, testing may be observational, written, practical or a combination of these.

What Payment Methods are Available?

We accept payments via Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Paypal and Check/Money Order. To pay by Paypal or Check, please call us for instructions.

What is Charged and When is it Charged?

  • $99 paid TODAY to reserve your spot
  • For payments made IN FULL at time of registration, you will receive a 2% discount (call us before or immediately after you register if you would like to take advantage of this option)
  • 6 month finance plan ($566.76 every 30 days) OR 9 month finance plan ($397.21 every 30 days).  You can find a break down on these plans on the second page of registration.

What About Financing?

We offer 0% interest financing to our students and we require no credit check. The financing allows you to split up your payment into 6, or 9,  equal payments which are to be paid every 30 days. To take advantage of this offer simply follow the steps on the second page when you reserve your spot. Call us ASAP if you would like to make special payment arrangements. Then on the same day each month we will charge the remaining amount (or if you’ve paid by check/money order, you will need to ensure this payment arrives on time each month).  You will also receive a payment plan break down along with a promissory note within 24 hours… AGAIN, if you have ANY questions call 800.504.7615 or email us  at info@iwedglobal.com!

Do you have a referral program or group discounts?

There is no group discount plan available but we do have a referral program that can be used to the same effect. Our referral program allows registered students to receive 10% of the registration fees paid by anyone they refer. We also offer a 10% couples discount.  Each of you can attend the course, and each student will receive an automatic 10% discount on the total cost of tuition.
