Room Draping and Head Table Backdrop Mastery
The The Institute of Wedding & Event Design is proud to offer the IWED 201-205 series of instructional courses which are designed to give students the knowledge and skills necessary to master the art of room and backdrop draping.
Through our series of hands-on courses, our knowledgeable iWED instructors will guide students through all procedures for designing and executing room draping and backdrop installations. Students will be instructed in both the practical application (the “doing”) along with the theory and design aspects.
Each iWED student is supplied with all the hardware and fabric to use, throughout the course to create their own custom designs, as well as information on types and uses of fabrics, techniques, terms and step by step instructions. Students leave with the knowledge and confidence to break down any room or backdrop draping and replicate it themselves!
Upon completion of the courses, students will be awarded a Certificate of Completion in Room Draping and Backdrop Mastery from the Institute of Wedding & Event Design. The course is required to earn a degree in Wedding & Event Design and become an Accredited Event Designer.
Tip: Make sure to bring your camera- There will be lots of opportunities to build your portfolio!
